Evan Jeffrey Osborne, better known by his beatmaker name Ozzy, is an American music producer. Born in 1994 in Nashville, Tennessee, and raised in Birmingham, Alabama, he developed a love of music at a young age. His mother, Hope Michelle Shoulders, was a teacher in Jefferson County where Ozzy and his sibling received an outstanding education in math, science, and music. He held down a number of part-time jobs as a teenager while he honed his beat-producing skills.
In 2011, Ozzy started making hip hop beats using the demo version of FL Studio. His high school friends would rap over them, begging him for more. In time, he mastered digital audio production, working with various local artists and producers in the Birmingham area.
After graduating from Hueytown High School, Ozzy moved to Livingston and attended The University of West Alabama, finishing up his undergraduate career in Chemistry in 2019.
As a thoughtful, contemplative producer, Ozzy stays away from negative energy and the counterproductive actions of others. Today, Ozzy remains excited to work with new, industry-ready artists and producers who are ready to take their careers to the next level, just like he is.
